SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING STATEMENT
Techniquip Limited takes its social responsibilities very seriously and conducts its business
in accordance with its core values of respect, integrity, accountability, innovation,
motivation and customer focus. The company is committed to understanding more
about modern slavery and improving its practices to ensure that slavery and human
trafficking are not present in the business or supply chain.
Techniquip Limited is committed to:

 Upholding the principles defined by the United Nations Universal Declaration of
HumanRights
 Adhering to the labour laws of all countries in which it operates
 Being available to hear and take action regarding all legitimate employment
related concerns
 Providing adequate welfare facilities as and when required
 Ensuring that modern slavery or human trafficking is not present in the company’s
supply chains

This statement relates to the above company pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern
Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes the Company’s slavery and human trafficking
statement for the financial year to 31 December 2017
As a distribution business a significant proportion of the company’s supply chain includes
large multi-nationals involved in the supply of process instrumentation products. UK
based suppliers form part of the remainder of the supply chain. In order to monitor and
mitigate the risks of slavery and human trafficking the company has, or is, undertaking
the following actions:
 Introduction of contractual obligations that reflect modern slavery legislation across
company standard terms and conditions
 Inclusion of the assessment of slavery and trafficking risk into supplier sourcing and
approved vendor listing
 Review and assessment of current supplier base
 Provision of necessary training to staff involved in purchasing and vendor approvals
The company intends to continuously develop its knowledge and staff training relating
to the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
